Who runs this

Stem Cell Studies is run by Caddie AI, a software company. It is not run by a clinic, a lab, a hospital, or a medical society.

We built this because the published research on these treatments is hard for patients to find and harder to read, and most of what is easy to find is marketing. We are software people, not doctors. That is why the site sticks to sorting and counting studies and links to the source for everything.

How it is paid for

The site is free to use. It may carry labeled sponsors, under the sponsor policy. There are none at the moment.

Your data

The site has no accounts and no sign-up forms, and it does not ask for your name or email.

When you search, your question goes to our server, then to an AI model run by TypeSafe, which works out the condition and filters, then to PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov as a search of the condition. To write the summary, the question also goes to a second AI model provider through Vercel, our hosting company. We do not store the text of your question, keep a search history, or tie searches to you. To avoid paying to re-read the same question, we keep a scrambled fingerprint of it for up to 30 days, from which the question cannot be read back. Questions that ask about a particular person are not remembered at all. Please do not put your name or other personal details in a search.
